Students:
I want you to
1. finish your graphing worksheets...all three pages.
2. Then, I want you to add a comment to this blog. In your comment, you must
1. Compare the three pages in your graphing worksheet telling which was the hardest page for you and why.
2. You must also explain the reason for doing the worksheets in the order that we did them.
3. Then, tell me what you have learned about coordinate graphing and list at least two other math concepts you had to know to be able to successfully complete these worksheets.
4. Finally tell me what part of coodinate graphing is still difficult for you.
Then, there is a voice thread that I want you to view and make at least one comment. This is new to me and to you. Comments can be made verbally or by typing. I have a microphone for verbal comments. Watch the voice thread above. Then, decide which screen on which you want to comment and click comment to make your comment. If your comment is verbal, you will need to ask for my microphone. If you need help, ask me. Your comment could tell how knowing how to work with integers is important when coordinate graphing.
(nick)- the hardest page for me was the 3rd page. the reason is that you have to figure out the equation.the reason for doing this was so you could see how we were doing. the coordinate graphing was fun. i learned about slopes. the other things i learned 2.equations

ReplyDeleteI think the hardest page was the third one i had to figure the slope and the epuation. We did them in a certain order to learn how to do it all instead of doing the hardest page first. the hardest thing for me to do is find the slope without the grid.

i think that the plain graphing the points/coordinates were the easiest 4me.i think we did the worksheets in the order we did them bc mizz mocosky told us to,im not exacly sure why cuz idnt remember.in coordinate graphing iv learned how to find the graphed dots in the exaact place easier and also how to figure out points on charts b4 i graphed the coordinates.2 things i need 2 kw in order to solve graphing is my left & rights and how to count.also something im still having trouble with is how to find the cooridaites in the t-chart things we used b4 graphing the coordinates. ~Crystal V.
ReplyDelete(Courtney)I think that the hardest page was the 3rd page. I forgot how to do the figure out the equation. I really liked the coordinate graphing because I like to graph things on the graph. I like the 2nd page it was easy for me to figure out.
ReplyDeletethe hardest thing for me is the third slope.i needed to learn about y slopes. you made us do the pages in the order that we did to make sure we had it memorized. i learned the formula for equations. i learned how hard it was without a coordinate graph it is diffcult to do slopes with out them.nick

ReplyDeleteI think the hardeest page for me was the 3rd one. It wasn't easy. I think we did the pages in the order we did them in because those were the ones that you had to do, to do the next. What I learned about coordinate graphy was that you have to know ur coordinates, and you have to know how to graph. There really isn't anything about corrdinate graphing that is still difficult ofr me, because most of it, I already know, and I had my classmates, and the teacher to help me!
The second page was the hardest for me. It was hardest because you have to find the slope and the other stuff. The order we did helped me understand how to figure stuff out. I have learned that you have to learn how to use the coordinates. You have to learn how to use positive and negatives. It is dificult for me to Place them because I get confused on the placements. ReplyDelete(isaac)- the hardest was all the pages to me.I could not cinfigure the slope . i figured out how 2 do the 2nd page . the equestion was pretty simple .
ReplyDeleteMy name is Angie Conder and i am a new student you are a nice teacher. And i love chocolate alot just saying
ReplyDeleteWell, I can't find my papers; they've seemed to have dissapered...
ReplyDelete(Joesie) I think page three was hardest because you had to figure out the slope and the equation. I'm not very good at finding the slope and an equation. But, I'm pretty good at finding the coordinates and graphing them.
ReplyDeleteWe did the pages in the order we did them because the first page was fairly easy, then it got harder. I have learn a lot more about coordinate graphing since the beginning of the year though. I also had to use adding, subtracting, and multiplying to figure out the coordinates. The part I have trouble with is remembering how to figure the slope and the equation.
(Kelsey)- I think the third page was the hardest because you had to find the slope and the intercept. You had to do them in the order for it to make sense. I learned to figure out the Y-intercept and the slope. I still think finding the slope is the hardest.
ReplyDeletein comparison btwn the 3 worksheets the 1st 1 was definetly the easiest cuz it was all jus graphing the coordinates.the 2nd sheet got a little harder but wasnt very bad,but the 3rd 1 stumped me cuz we had 2 find the coordinantes in thows little charts b4 we were able 2 graph the pts.the slope gave me the worst trouble on it 2.i jus dnt get it tht well. ~Crystal
ReplyDeleteI think the first one was harder than the first and second. The first one had the coordinates all u had to find was were the coordinate was. The third one you had to find tthe slope and the equation. We did them in the order we did them we had to learn how to do it with the easy ones then the harder ones. I used adding and subtraction. The most diffucult thing for me was figuring out the equation and slope.

(Courtney)- I think that the third page was the hardest because I had trouble finding out the slope and the intercept. The first one was a lot easier when we did them because the slop and the intercept was there. Then when we were going to do the problems when all we had to do when we were on the page is graph the numbers. Then on the second page it was a little harder then the second but it was ok. Then I really like the coordinate garphing part. However the promblem is finding the y-intercept. Then if I really need help I would ask the teacher and or the students in the class.

ReplyDeleteWhen I first did the papers, I didn't really understand it. But once I started working on them, and did it more, I got the hang of most of it. At first I was like, I don't know what to do. It seems so hard. But then I got help from you, and my classmates, and it wasn't so bad.
But...then when I did the second page, it was a little tricky, and I had to get somewhat help from most people. When I finally got the hang of it, I was use to doing it. So, it wasn't so bad. I think it was a little bit harder than the first page.
The third page. I didn't like it all. It was the hardest one for me. I had to work on it so much. I just couldn't do it. I could after I saw someone do it. But then when I didn't I was like no. I can't do it.
I do believe that the third page was the hardest because finding the slope and y-intercept was kind of hard. It only made sense to do them in the order that we did. I learned how to find the slope. I think that finding the slope is the hardest thing to do.
