Assignment 1
Your first assignment is to go to msmccoskey.yolasite.com and look at the math page on Ms. McCoskey's site. At the bottom in the left column, you will see a current math link. Go to that link and play the percent game. Try level 1 first. If you do well, you may move to level 2. As you play, keep track of how many you get right and how many you get wrong. Then, click on the link to this blog and come back and make a comment. Your comment must include: How many problems you did, how many problems you got right, your evaluation of the game, what you learned and what you still need to learn about percentages. Be sure to type your name first so Ms. McCoskey will know to whose grade to add points.

ReplyDeleteI did about 5 problems on the math game. I got 4 out of 5 problems correct. I really liked the game. At first, it was a little challenging but, I got the hang of it after awhile. At the beginning of the game, I didn't really understand but, as I moved on... I learned quickly! This game really helped me understand to figure percentages. I even did pretty good on level 2 on the game. I am almost a pro at using percentages, it really comes in handy. I don't think I don't need any help with percentages. I really understand it!
NICHOLAS- I really enjoyed the game.

ReplyDeleteI chose #5. I chose it because I think it would be fun to ask people weird questions. We discussed it and gave reasons why #5 would be fun and people decided to do #5.

ReplyDeleteI think we should do number 5. I'm pretty sure we all agreed on number 5. A few people wanted number 5 but, maybe 2 or 3 other people wanted number 6. But, after some debating... we all agreed on number 5! We chose number 5 because it seems like the most entertaining one to do.
Courtney I chose number 5.
ReplyDeleteBecause we can learn more about the staff.
The reason why we chosed number 5 is because the class was wanting to do number 6 but then we changed our mind and we are doing number 5.
